Perhaps you had role models and mentors, people who nurtured you with optimism and encouragement. Success wasn’t a question of “if”, but rather “how”.
Or, you might come from a background similar to our students. You didn’t have as much support from schools, friends, or your community. Yet despite the circumstances, you seized every opportunity and worked hard to develop your abilities.
Whatever your background, we encourage you to sign-up to become a BUILD Mentor or Volunteer. By working with our students, you can transform a community, one member at a time.
